Brian’s Hale will be a residential 24/7 community for adults with autism and their families. The community will be built on a minimum of 8 acres on the island of Maui in the state of Hawai’i. It will be self-sustaining relying on catchment water, solar energy, compost waste and organic grown fruits, vegetables and raised organic eggs and meat. The community will consist of a main resident, barn, full time program director’s house and full time farm manager’s house. There will also be individual homes opportunities available. All of this utilizing autism-specific design, which addresses both safety and sensory issues.
